When the legendary cowboy-actor, Ben Johnson
died, Don Donnelley called me and asked me if I would ride
as a tribute to Ben for a few days in Monument Valley. With
his wife, Shelly, and his sister Mary Lou. Don owned and operated
the Don Donnelly Stables in Gold Canyon, Arizona. Having me
ride Ben's horse, "Bear", was one of the highest
honors ever bestowed on me.
Don recently joined Ben and the other great
cowboys in the Sky. Shelly chose a photo of Don and me on
our horses from that ride as a picture for their T-shirt commemorating
the ride in tribute to her husband. It was another proud moment
for me.
Ermal would love to share a moment with you over a cup of freshly-brewed morning coffee. To book a reservation for a get-away Bed & Breakfast at
